Banksman Required – Pembroke

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman to join a major infrastructure project based in Pembroke. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile site, offering competitive rates and consistent hours over a 12-week contract.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and plant across site while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and guide the safe movement of vehicles and heavy plant on site.
• Maintain safe traffic management practices within the work area.
• Communicate clearly with plant operators using recognised hand signals and radio communication where required.
• Ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation is maintained.
• Carry out daily safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Work closely with site management and operatives to ensure safe site operations.
• Comply with all company health, safety and environmental procedures.

Essential Requirements

• National Grid Persons training/accreditation.
• Valid Banksman/Vehicle Marshal qualification.
• Previous experience working on construction, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work safely within a busy operational environment.
