Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced Storeman to join a specialist Engineering Contractor and a large project in North London to maintain the efficiency and organisation of the project.
As a Storeman you will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of the materials. Your role will involve ensuring accurate inventory control and supporting the smooth operation of site activities.
Storeman Responsibilities:
Take control of all deliveries, including counting and cross-checking with delivery documents.
Hand over materials to contractors while keeping a signed record.
Ensure the Logistics Manager is informed of any shortage of material types well in advance.
Good knowledge of Health and safety.
Organise and look after stores area.
Storeman Requirements:
Excellent Excel Trackers and Spreadsheets management
Excellent communication skills
Strong sense of accountability.
Ideally previous experience of working with Mechanical and Electrical services.
