Permanent job opportunities for Steel erectors / Fabricators / Fitters with this busy, fast growing construction metalwork company. We have a number of roles based mostly at Stansted airport with excellent extra hours available and bonus’s.
Responsibilities: – Assemble and install metal frameworks for building structures. – Read and interpret construction plans to determine necessary materials and installation processes. – Safely use tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and joining metal components. (any welding experience will be a bonus.) – Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. – Conduct quality checks to ensure structural integrity and adherence to specifications. – Comply with health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
Requirements: – Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar role focusing on construction metal framework. – Ability to interpret technical drawings. – Strong knowledge of metalworking tools and machines. – Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. – Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills. – Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions. – Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
Overtime offered at x 1.5.
