Senior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-out

Fawkes & Reece are working with one of the UK’s leading interior fit out contractors within the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors. They work with a number of Blue-Chip clients across the UK and are known for for delivering fast track projects to an exceptional standard.

They are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be based in their offices in Staffordshire, with the ideal candidate having worked on similar fast-track / fit-out projects previously.

About the Senior Quantity Surveyor role

Given the nature of the work, this is a fast-paced environment and would suit someone who has some experience within the interior fit-out sector and works well under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to carry out a turnkey commercial role as a member of a team, taking a fast-track retail or leisure fit out project from estimating stage through / sub-contract procurement / cost management to final account settlement and effectively taking total financial control of the project.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor role

• Commercial responsibility for fast-track retail & leisure fit-out projects
• Responsible for the commercial management of projects from estimating stage through /sub-contract procurement/cost management to final account.

• Sub-contract negotiation and vetting

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor role

• Construction qualification, minimum HNC
• Must have experience with fast-track retail or fit-out projects
• Self-motivated and professionally driven.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel and Word.

What we offer for the Assistant Quantity Survey role

Salary: 50,000 – 65,000 (DOE)

Benefits: Fully expensed car inc private mileage or car allowance, healthcare, pension and bonus
