Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Quantity Surveyor to support our project delivery and commercial operations. You will play a key role in cost control, contract administration, and driving value across varied civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage NEC/JCT contract obligations, cost tracking, and procurement processes.
Prepare and issue interim valuations, manage variations, and oversee final accounts.
Deliver precise cost forecasts and monthly reporting to project and operations leadership.
Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams to secure competitive pricing and maintain schedule adherence.
Provide commercial insight during project planning, tendering, and negotiation phases.
Champion cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvements across the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Degree or HNC/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or closely related discipline. WTNH Jobs
Proven experience working with NEC or JCT contracts.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, cost-tracking systems, and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and cost mitigation opportunities.
Great communicator with ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated, commercially minded, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Desirable Experience
Background in civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure sectors.
Familiarity with public- and private-sector contracting frameworks.
Experience contributing to long-term client relationship management and commercial strategy.
