About Us

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join us on our flagship project in West London. This is a fast-paced role that involves working with a diverse range of people from within and outside of the business.

The role would suit an experienced project management professional who has worked on large-scale schemes of above £50m wihtin the commercial fit out and refurbishement sector.

We are a privately owned building, refurbishment and fit out contractor with an established track record, operating from offices in both London and Kent. We have an extensive portfolio of successfully completed projects covering a range of construction criteria across all market sectors. This includes new build schemes, maximising existing developments including cut and carve and major structural modifications, refurbishment and the fitting out of interior spaces. Our contract values range between £100k and £100m+

Job Role / Responsibilities:

Senior Project Manager

• You will be responsible and accountable for providing the safe, successful, cost efficient and timely delivery of our flagship project in West London, enabling and providing as necessary, effective risk management and problem resolution.
• Plan skill requirements for the assigned project, managing and personally working with the project teams to recruit and select quality employees within budget and headcount (permanent and where necessary, agency or freelance), adhering to company recruitment and selection processes and agency preferred suppliers.
• Proactively monitor project health & safety processes, culture and behaviours, ensuring compliance with the Safety Management System and personally attending any serious incidents.
• Manage and take an active part in the monthly divisional project reporting process ensuring the line manager has reliable and accurate information on which to base his Board Report.
• Proactively manage and monitor programmes, change process and financial reporting for assigned projects to ensure commercial and relationship risk avoidance and management.
• Manage project construction teams in line with our values and culture.
• Provide effective feedback to project teams and individuals.

Skills & Experience:

• Significant experience of working at Project Manager level
• Has been involved at a senior level in at least one large (£50m+) project.
• Industry experience. Track record of successful delivery of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects.
• Understands the pre-construction process. Can organise and manage the design phase of a project. Help prepare and maintain the client decision matrix.
• Able to collate information from team to prepare and present the project report.
• Understanding of how to comply with a Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety management system.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal and people management skills.
• Commercial awareness: understanding and ability to make profit whilst retaining relationships and company values.
• Quality driven; demonstrates attitude and experience of delivery projects based on quality, attention to detail and client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Relevant Degree or Qualification in Construction management
• Significant experience of working at Project Manager level on large scale schemes.
• In-depth knowledge of the Fit-Out and Refurbishement construction process.
