We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator for an established M&E contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects across the leisure, commercial, hotel, and the residential sectors. With projects ranging up to 50m M&E value, we are now seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join the pre-construction team.

As Senior Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the successful bidding and securing of major projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate Electrical estimates, reviewing specifications, liaising with supply chain partners, and working closely with senior management to deliver competitive, profitable, and technically sound tenders.

• Prepare accurate Electrical estimates for projects up to 50m M&E value
• Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Produce detailed cost plans, BOQs, and tender submissions
• Collaborate with the bid team to ensure deadlines are met
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and consultants
• Provide technical input and value engineering solutions
• Support handover to project delivery teams after contract award

Senior Electrical Estimator Requirements

• Proven experience as a Electrical Estimator, ideally at Senior level
• Strong background in large-scale M&E projects (leisure, hotels, commercial, residential)
• Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical building services systems
• Commercially astute with strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with supply chain and clients
• Ability to manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines
