The Company:

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established Acoustic Consultancy based in the UK. They specialise in various aspects of acoustics, including noise assessments, expert acoustic design, and building compliance testing. This company operate over various sectors, including Hospitality, Education, Residential, and Healthcare. They are looking for an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team, in London.

The Role:

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will be working with architects, designers, and developers to deliver expert Acoustic advice. You will be part of an experienced team who create a supportive environment to enable high quality work. This role can either be fully in office or hybrid, as only 2 days at the office are required. This role allows an experienced Acoustic Consultant to offer their perspective on how to approach projects and will play a pivotal role in the development of the company.

Role responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct occasional site visits for larger projects to ensure successful project delivery.
• Play a pivotal role on exciting projects.
• Design Acoustic solutions for a range of exciting projects.
• Be involved in construction RIBA stages 1-3.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Acoustic Consultant, specifically technical report writing.
• Membership to the International Institute of Acoustics (MIOA).
• A degree in a relevant field (Acoustics / Physics / Mechanical Engineering, with relevant modules).
• Experience of building Acoustics in construction RIBA stages 1-3.
• Knowledge of new builds and existing structures is preferred.
• Acoustic design experience is preferred.
