Our client are a well established Groundworks and Civil Engineering sub contractor based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Due to consistent growth and several new projects starting, they’re looking to take on an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor.
The suitable candidatemust have a strong sub contractor background (specifically within groundworks & Civils).
Requirements:
Strong groundwork subcontractor experience is essential.
Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying (HND or Degree)
Excellent communication, analytical skills and commercial awareness.
Proficient with IT.
Full UK licence as site visits will be common.
Basic duties:
Tendering & Estimating.
Measurement & Take-offs
Contract Administration
Valuations & Applications
Cost Control
Subcontract Management
Claims & Disputes management
Reporting, cost/value reconciliation and financial reports.
