Are you a highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high-end residential construction? A long-established and respected contractor, based in North London, is seeking an experienced QS to join their commercial team.

Known for delivering bespoke, luxury residential projects across London and the Home Counties, this company operates with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality. With an annual turnover of £15 £20 million and typical project values of £3 £4 million, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially sharp and detail-driven professional looking to take their next step.

The Role Senior Quantity Surveyor:
You ll lead the financial management of a major high-end residential project in Chelsea. This is a client-facing role where you ll oversee all commercial aspects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with both the project delivery team and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing project budgets and cost control from inception to completion
• Producing detailed cost reports and forecasts
• Preparing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier packages
• Handling valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
• Supporting the tendering process and procurement strategy
• Collaborating with architects, consultants, and clients to ensure commercial success

• Proven experience as a Senior QS, ideally within the high-end residential sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commercially astute with a solid understanding of construction contracts
