BMSL are looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to work on an Energy from Waste power station in Leeds, please find more details below.
Vacancy – Quantity Surveyor
Location – Leeds, LS9 0DZ
Duration – 4-5 months
Hours – 9.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Rate – £500 per day
Duties
Fully understand and adhere to the contract T&C’s
Drafting and issuing of change order requests in accordance with the timeframes specified within the contract.
Drafting and issuing the contr5actural correspondence such as delay notifications and extensions of time in accordance with the contract T&C’s.
Issue of the project monthly report.
Up to date details project cost reports.
WIP / Accrual updates of the accounts department.
Issue of regular final account estimates.
Attend regular client meetings to establish a working relationship with the client’s site team and commercial department.
Month end valuations and issue of request for invoicing.
Working closely with the site planners to ensure any programme deviation, variations and delays are impacted into the programme.
Maintain risk and opportunity register.
