Are you a budding Quantity Surveyor with 3 years or less of experience? Are you looking for an exciting freelance opportunity in a dynamic and prestigious project?

Role Overview:

Join us on a unique project aimed at redeveloping an old College into a sustainable new neighbourhood of around 200 homes. This project emphasises retaining and converting existing buildings, minimising demolitions to create a worthy addition to the city. You will be part of a visionary scheme providing much-needed rental housing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cost estimation and budget management
• Prepare and analyse project costings
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure financial efficiency
• Monitor project progress and report on costs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Working alongside the commercial team

Requirements:

• Up to 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of construction and refurbishment processes ideally within education
