An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading team within a leading property maintenance business. With a North London base, this role will involve working on high volume reactive maintenance and repair contracts. The position offers a balance of office, site, and home-based working, alongside a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

The Role:

• Take charge of producing accurate commercial reports, ensuring cost control measures are implemented effectively to maximize project profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring compliance with service standards and alignment with contractual expectations.
• Manage valuations, cash flow, and project finances to ensure timely and efficient value recovery and cost management.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to oversee subcontract procurement, measurement, and valuation processes while finalizing accounts.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to all contractual, financial, and health & safety obligations, supporting the successful delivery of projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor with relevant industry experience in public sector/ local authority repair and maintenance works.
• Strong commercial skills and experience, with a track record in value recovery, cost control, and cash management.
• Financial and commercial awareness, with the ability to use and interpret financial reports and software effectively.
• Commitment to delivering customer satisfaction and alignment with contractual requirements.
• Ability to balance working between office, site, and home, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
