Property Manager

Salary: £30k per annum + benefit package

Location: Chichester

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle Required

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join a well-established and growing independent estate agency based in Chichester.

Working within a friendly team of four, you’ll help manage an impressive portfolio of residential properties, providing an exceptional level of service to both landlords and tenants. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Property Manager who enjoys building strong relationships, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering first-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of residential properties on behalf of landlords.
• Booking and carrying out mid-term property inspections.
• Conducting property check-outs and preparing detailed reports.
• Managing day-to-day maintenance issues from instruction through to completion.
• Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors via telephone and email.
• Chasing outstanding rent arrears and maintaining accurate records.
• Responding promptly to property management queries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with landlords and tenants through excellent customer service.
• Updating property records and managing workloads using Expert Agent CRM.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the property management department.

Please note: A dedicated compliance team manages Gas Safety Certificates and other statutory compliance documentation, allowing you to focus on delivering an outstanding property management service.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within residential Property Management.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident handling maintenance issues and resolving customer queries.
• Experience carrying out property inspections and check-outs.
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM systems (experience using Expert Agent would be advantageous).
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
