Are you a Project Manager experienced in overseeing turnkey high voltage civils, cabling and jointing projects ? If so then read on!

Our client is a leading utility company with a healthy order book. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV projects up to 33kv.

Salary to 70k Company Car or Allowance + Fuel card Bonus Healthcare Pension 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays

Key Essentials:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve managing power projects involving civils, cabling, jointing, reinstatement and substation builds up to 33kv

Overseeing Supervisors, you will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client

Full responsibility for ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly

Working closely with a Project Quantity Surveyor having full commercial awareness of projects under NEC Forms of Contract

Ensuring that project programmes are regularly updated using MS Project

Conducting regular site safety & quality audits

Requirements:

Previous project management experience of turnkey HV power projects with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications

Commercial awareness with good knowledge of NEC Forms of Contract (Early Warnings, Variations, Compensation Events, etc.)

Good I.T skills having used MS Project planning software
