A distinguished multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Nottingham.
This medium-sized consultancy is renowned for delivering top-tier services across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and public projects.
The successful Principal Designer will
Provide expert advice on health and safety during the design phases of projects.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and design reviews.
Ensure compliance with the CDM 2015 regulations.
Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
Prepare and manage pre-construction information and health and safety files.
Facilitate and lead design workshops and safety briefings.
Requirements
Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Principal Designer role.
Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
Proven experience in design risk management.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Membership with IOSH or APS preferred.
