Job Title: Operations Manager – Social Housing Responsive Maintenance

Location: South London

Salary: up to 75k Plus Package

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager, with experience working at a Tier 1 Contractor across Repairs and Maintenance contracts.

You will be joining a team that excel in delivering top-tier maintenance services with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction within the South London area.

Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.

Your role, will be the pivotal link between the operations team and the clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all contracts are executed to the highest standards, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and health & safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regional Delivery Management – Oversee all regional operations, ensuring an effective and motivated team.
• Leadership with Operational and Commercial Focus – Guide the team with a clear understanding of contract obligations and profitability influences.
• Project Setup and Monitoring – Ensure all projects are initiated with strong company governance, production control, and regular productivity assessments.
• Client Relationship Development – Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring each contract runs smoothly and meets high expectations. Attend and contribute to client progress meetings, providing detailed feedback and KPI data.
• Work Procurement and Strategic Thinking – Maintain and develop industry contacts to secure work. Contribute to strategic thinking for the Unit’s tenders.
• Supply Chain Collaboration – Work with key supply chain partners to ensure compliance with Operating Framework details before project commencement.
• Financial Forecasting and Approval – Monitor and approve financial forecasts, ensuring accurate cost planning.
• Compliance and Operational Excellence – Drive compliance and operational excellence throughout the division at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in an operational leadership role at a Main Contractor, with a strong track record in managing social housing maintenance teams and projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all disciplines from bidding stage to project handover, within time and budget constraints.
• Exceptional leadership and influence skills, capable of delivering outstanding results.
• Strong relationship-building skills to create future opportunities.
• Proactive approach to risk management.
