INTERIM Quantity Surveyor required to join one of the UK’s most significant long-term infrastructure investment programmes, focused on the delivery, upgrade and ongoing support of specialist facilities. Working alongside procurement the works portfolio includes:
Major capital construction projects: delivery of new-build facilities ranging from large industrial-scale buildings to highly serviced laboratories, workshops and office accommodation.
Complex refurbishment and lifecycle upgrades: modernisation of legacy buildings, extensive M&E replacement, and re-fit of critical services to extend asset life and meet stringent regulatory standards.
Multi-disciplinary collaboration: working alongside tier-one contractors, specialist subcontractors, procurement professionals and client stakeholders
As a Quantity Surveyor, you would be exposed to:
Cost management across a significant capital works programme.
Contract administration using NEC forms, with complex commercial interfaces across multiple suppliers.
Opportunities to support early cost planning and estimating, through to final account on high-profile projects.
Engagement in both traditional build projects and technically demanding, high-integrity engineering works.
This role offers a hybrid working opportunity with a minimum of 2 days per week required on site
