We are seeking an experienced fencer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of fencing across our portfolio of properties. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and aesthetic appeal of our housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install various types of fencing including wooden, metal, and composite.
• Repair and maintain existing fencing structures.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
• Ordering correct materials needed to complete each job.
• Conduct site assessments to determine fencing needs and provide accurate quotes.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete larger projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fencer working within a similar role.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong knowledge of fencing materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Full UK driving licence.
