The Position: Estimator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting cost analysis and preparing accurate and timely estimates
• Assessing material, labour and time requirements for projects
• Reviewing architectural plans and preparing quantity take-offs
• Evaluating subcontractor proposals and conducting negotiations
• Regularly reporting to higher management on potential cost overruns and savings

The Ideal Candidate

• Has a proven track record in Estimator roles, preferably in social housing or education sector
• Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Boasts a strong knowledge of construction industry trends and practices
• Has a good eye for detail, with strong mathematical and IT skills
