Company Overview – Engineering Manager

Our client, a reputable business with over 30 years’ experience within the security sector are currently on the lookout for an Engineering Manager.

This company specialise in the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems. Their work is carried out to NSI Gold Standards.

The main focus of this role will be to take overall responsibility for the engineering department. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with both the team and customers to ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role requires the candidate to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable. Building and maintaining close relationships is an integral part of this role.

Engineering Manager Role and Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the smooth running of the engineering department
• Work allocation
• Staff training
• You will be responsible for ensuring that all works pending and in progress are managed efficiently with all documents completed correctly
• Point of contact for the engineering team and clients
• Answer any questions and queries from staff and customers to help install and maintain confidence in the brand
• Some sales and KPI’s
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
• Communicate regularly with the sales team and other departments

Engineering ManagerSkills and Experience:

• A full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential)
• A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
