Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Rotherham. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician role:

They are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with a background in machine repair, PPM and problem solving at their Barnsley site.

The role involves working as part of a small team to carry out, in accordance with the relevant legislation and safe systems of work.

The key responsibilities of their Electrical Maintenance Technician will include:

• Production plant and equipment maintenance
• Planned and preventative maintenance
• Day to day machine breakdown resolution

To fulfil this Electrical Maintenance Technician role you must:

• Be an experienced multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 4 years industrial experience, NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.
• Have previous experience in a fast paced engineering environment.
• Work a 4 shift rota, 7 days.
• Be computer literate with experience of CMMS systems
• Be able to work under your own initiative
• Be willing to work overtime to cover spikes in production demand and holiday/sickness cover within the department.
