We’ve got a brilliant role for an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s maintenance team based in Charing Cross, on a flagship, commercial site! Our client is a well-renowned building service provider who have a proven track record of putting their engineers through additional training.

This isn’t your run of the mill maintenance job, you’ll be part of a well experienced team, working on a high end contract up skill technically. For this Electrical Engineer role, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, respond to client needs and ensure the site’s commercial plant is running efficiently.

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on plant equipment
• Work on single / three-phase electrical systems, including motors, emergency lighting, fire alarms, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Safely isolate equipment and systems when necessary to carry out work – LOTO
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with current regulations and industry standards
• Consistently follow and promote safe working practices and procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and site logbooks
• Use PDA systems to manage workflow, including job allocation, updates, and closures

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in an Electrical related subject (Installations or Engineering) – City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a commercial environment
• Great knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Client facing attitude
• Motivated personality

Salary and Package:

• £52,000 per annum
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (Day shift only)
