Neos Engineering are currently working with a leader within the Material Processing sector! They are currently looking for a Design Manager with experience in the Quarrying/ Recycling/Mechanical Engineering.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Design Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background who has worked in either Civils, Construction or Material Processing. The candidate will be qualified and ideally have experience in New build Quarry processing plants.

The day to day role of the Design Manager will be to work with the Project team managing the pre-Construction design phase and co-ordination working closely with Contractors/clients and our in-house team to ensure the design is produced to industry standards and is designed for our Factory and installation works in a modular fashion.

Projects are predominantly for the quarry and material processing industry sectors including New build Quarry processing plants, Refurbishment of plants, Demolishing of plants, IBAA/Recycling plants, Train loading and offloading facilities and Material handling.

The client utilises sub-Contractor design Companies and do not currently design any works in-house as to why they require an experienced Competent person preferably from a Mechanical Engineering background. This role will grow quickly, being involved in the recruitment of Design Engineers to join the growing team.

• Design of new build Quarry Processing Plants
• Taking a Project from Concept to Completion
• Project Planning
• People Management

The Candidate:

• Experienced Design Engineer
• Experience within the Quarrying, Mining, Recycling industries
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Flexible for travel to meet the needs of the business as we cover UK wide.

The Benefits:

• £65,000 to £80,000 Basic
• £5,000 Car Allowance
• £25 a day stay away allowance
