6-month temporary contract for a Commercial Manager with a Manchester-based consultancy.

Your new company
Global multi-disciplinary consultancy currently looking for a commercial manager to join their team in Manchester. They specialise in transport, property and industrial sector projects. They have an established commercial services team which you will be a part, working on a variety of projects.

Your new role
You will balance risk, opportunity, and financial returns in both pre- and post- contract commercial management, including managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior managers. You will be attending pre-tender meetings, producing tenders and presenting tender reports.
You will also lead on delivery and growth, develop and implement commercial strategy.

What you’ll need to succeed
If you are a degree-qualified quantity surveyor with post-graduate experience working in a consultancy setting, I’d love to have a chat with you about this opportunity. For this role you will need to be an MRICS chartered quantity surveyor. Working in a team environment, you will have great communication and client management skills.

What you’ll get in return
A minimum 6-month contract with a possibility of extension. Great hourly rate in scope of IR35.
