Your new companyOur client is a large main contractor with a sustainable pipeline of work across the Central Belt and beyond in Scotland. Focusing on delivering complex building projects to the public and private sectors, they are recognised as one of the most dynamic and innovative builders in their space. They now have a requirement for a building services manager to join their business.Your new roleAs Building Services Manager, your role will be to ensure the building services component of your project is front and centre at all stages from preconstruction through to commissioning. From working with the pre-construction and tender teams to managing and working with your team of subcontractors on-site, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex building and services packages across your projects. Typical projects range from £10million to £100million and are generally across the education, healthcare or complex commercial sectors.What you’ll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will be degree or trade qualified in a building services discipline, but our client is particularly interested in candidates from a mechanical background. You will be an expert communicator capable of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and have deep technical expertise in the delivery of complex mechanical packages on large building projects.
