Architectural Assistant – Part 2Henley-In-Arden, Birmingham
An excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice to be exposed to a variety of projects. You will be working alongside Architects and experienced Technologists, joining a fast-growing practice with offices based in Bedford.
The practice was established just over 4 years ago starting with two Directors, having since grown to a team of 8 and looking to add an additional team member to support on both residential and commercial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to also be supported through Part 2 or Part 3 whilst raising industry knowledge, practical and technical skills within Architecture.
You will be required to:
Prepare drawings and develop design schemes, primarily for the residential and commercial sectors.
Assist with lead Architects and Senior Technicians in project delivery, to prepare planning and building regulations applications.
Prepare tender documentation.
Work on several projects at a time, ensuring office standards and high level of quality is met on each project.
Assist with overseeing projects on-site.
Be confident in meeting new and existing clients to both build and maintain working relationships.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years industry experience.
Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Good design and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
Well rounded skills with experience in co-ordinating and producing information for all RIBA stages.
Excellent multi-tasker with organisational skills and the ability to problem solve in a practical manner.
Full UK Driving licence and own transport beneficial, but not essential.
