Problem Analyst - Online Gaming - Gibraltar

Salary £40,000 - £50,000 plus various benefits and relocation provided

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Problem Analyst to join one of the largest, most exciting Gaming organisations in Gibraltar. This role is perfect for an experienced Problem Manager, with strong incident analysis within a mobile product development team.

The Role

The Problem Analyst will work within a close-nit team, holding a strategic role within projects and identifying root-cause analysis and proposing permanent solutions. As well as this, the successful Problem Analyst will also have the following responsibilities: and using key learning points daily.

  • Be responsible and own significant or recurring incidents within your designated product area

  • Constantly strive to improve areas of risk within the product, always implementing plans for identifying and mitigating risk

  • Constantly strive to improve information quality passed form product development through to operations

  • Facilitate more complex incidents being resolved, assist in their solution

  • Product quality data relating to operational performance of a product

  • Able to identify and prioritise service improvements along with product owners and operational management

Skill and Experience:

  • Strong Problem Management Background

  • Excellent communication, especially with technical concepts, able to communicate these in a clear and concise manner to non-technical, senior stakeholders.

  • Broad experience of Enterprise technologies, for example Java, SQL, NOSQL, Virtualisation, TCP/IP , etc.

  • Adaptable and flexible, able to work in an ever-changing environment

  • Some experience of automated testing

  • Exposure to API level testing tools, for example SOAP

  • Excellent communication, especially between business and technical personnel.

  • Experience within an Agile environment, knowledge of the principles and Agile Test Techniques

  • Able to identify gaps in information required to understand various issues or problems, then define the means to remedy these

  • Experience providing input into test design reviews

  • Highly desirable to have:

o Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails

o Gaming or Betting experience
