Job Title: Site Manager Location: Cambridge Duration: 3 months (potential for extension) Start Date: Immediate Contractor: Tier 1 Main Contractor
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new commercial build project with a Tier 1 contractor. This is an initial 3-month contract with the strong possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily site operations and ensure works are delivered to programme.
Oversee subcontractors, trades, and labour on site.
Maintain strict health & safety standards in line with company policies.
Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Liaise with the Project Manager, client, and stakeholders to provide progress updates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, and quality management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification.
