Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor? Interested in working with a reputable civils contractor? Randstad CPE are working on behalf of a successful medium size civils groundworks contractor who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to their ranks. This contractor deliver various civils/groundwork projects across the housing, commercial and public sectors. This role will be based in Fife. Duties to include but not limited to the following; Taking off quantities from drawings and producing bespoke BOQ's for tendering purposes Full estimating function including elemental unit rate build up from first principles Pricing BOQ's All pre-contract administration Submitting interim applications through to final account with clients Re-measurement of drawings and pricing of variations Procurement, selection and management of specialist sub-contractors Cost reporting to senior management Administration, control and distribution of drawings Liaising with site staff, other members of management and clients Procurement of and purchasing of materials Oversee material purchasing for each contract Essential criteria; Minimum of 5' years' experience in similar role Ability to work independently without supervision Drivers Licence Two references Formal qualification in relevant subject (although demonstrable experience in similar role will be considered) Package Competitive salary dependent on experience Generous holiday entitlement Small family company, excellent working environment If this is a position that is of interest then give Paul Logan a call for a confidential chat on or email your CV Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
