Are you a Senior Responsive Repairs Survey, seeking a new job in the Bristol area? My client has an immediate opportunity for a Response Repairs Supervisor to join their team on an initial interim basis. The successful candidate will supervise a team of Response Services Surveyors and be responsible for responsive repairs to buildings and land managed by Landlord Services, including monitoring the work of the trade teams and contractors from inception to completion. Responsibilities: Ensure that tasks are owned by staff and that they action and take responsibility from end-to-end of the process. Ensure that where work is delegated or carried out by other parties, such as contractors, that over-view is maintained and deadlines met, whilst keeping customers informed of progress throughout the process and that the work is completed to quality, financial and time targets. Champion an excellent customer experience with Landlord Services. Ensure staff performance is maintained to a high standard of delivery and customer satisfaction through the regular monitoring of individual targets, identifying and providing continuous development opportunities and the effective supervision of any performance issues within an appropriate timescale. Escalate persistent failures or development needs to the Responsive Repairs Manager. Supervise staffing resources, external contractors and suppliers to ensure the completion and co-ordination of work and provision of services in order to optimise end-to-end outputs within a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high quality service. Assist the Responsive Repairs Manager to monitor and accurately report expenditure and costs against budgets. Ensure that processes are in place to meet customer needs, exceed their expectations and check Information held about them is correct wherever possible. Maintain an up to date knowledge of changes in repairs policy, legislation, case law, innovation and best practice. Ensure policies are developed, continuously improved, clearly understood and consistently applied by all. Respond to out of hours queries from the Emergency Call Out centre, as necessary. Provide managerial support for the service in the absence of other Managers, to ensure adequate management cover at all times. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a HNC or equivalent qualification in a construction or building related subject, plus a further period of related experience. Or Equivalent knowledge and skill demonstrated from significant and relevant experience in a building, surveying or similar construction related environment. Experience of supervision of contractors, sub-contractors, surveyors and technical staff to manage performance to a high standard. Ability to take ownership and be accountable for all aspects of the service/repair from end-to-end, ensuring delivery within time-scales, high quality and excellent customer satisfaction. Ability to successfully manage large revenue and capital budgets interrogate and interpret financial data ensuring high quality workmanship and achieving value for money. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications or equivalent Due to the requirement to carry tools and equipment the post holder must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
